Phantogrammin’
If you haven’t heard them yet, Phantogram’s might just be some of the sweetest tunes your ears behold in eons. Theirs is the perfect blend of sexy trance dance-cum-danceworthy pop goodness, and one can’t help but get sucked into the combination of Sarah Barthel’s ethereal vocals layered over fat drum beats and Josh Carter’s gravely guitar tones. B & I had the good fortune of seeing them in concert this past Sunday at Bogart’s, and their live show was a gorgeous mess of bombastic lights and swoopy hooks, perfect for sweaty dancing (when I wasn’t busy ogling Sarah’s killer tights).
