Folk & Feather

Of Models and Movements

When all was said and done, ParProject’s fusion of art, music and fashion came together in a way that can only be described as singularly harmonious (duh, pun intended). Unfortunately for me, much of the event’s splendor was lost amid frantic outfit changes, but just listening to the music inside that industrial, seemingly post-apocalyptic warehouse was truly epic.  The CSO quartet provided a stunning, universal soundtrack to the varied styles of Dana Ayanna Greaves, Jonathan Mezibov, Sloane and NVISION, and from what I saw backstage, the looks were totally on point and the models showed no shortage of swagger (all thanks to Parlour Salon’s Jessie Hoffman and her amazing team!).

At the end of the night, one thing was clear: when it comes to the fashion scene, Cincinnati may never be Paris or Milan, but we have killer style all our own.

For those of you who were able to attend, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the shindig!  And don’t forget to head over to F&F’s Facebook page for buku photos from the event, all courtesy of the amazing Braeden Tilford (please ask before using).
